Ambulart is a cultural exchange platform for native Spanish and German speaker creators, is an itinerant audiovisual fest that travels around the cities of Guadalajara (Mexico), Quito, Guayaquil (Ecuador) and Hamburg (Germany). Ambulart is an initiative of the the Spanishe´s Fraktion, a group of Latin-American and German students of the Academy of Fine Arts Hamburg and we showcase artistic audiovisual works that are wilful author and experimental.
Three successful festival editions so far (from 2005) with great jury members like Fred Camper, Peter Tscherkassky, Taka Iimura, Matthias Müller, Chris Shepherd and Marcel Jean; great retrospectives made by curators like Stefanie Schulte Strathauss (arsenal experimental; Forum Expanded at Berlinale) or Mark Webber (Shoot Shoot Shoot), and a main competition program selected out of 1,300 works submitted every year from more then 60 countries world wide.
The festival aims to promote independent films worldwide. It is also a distribution channel for independent filmmakers. The festival started in Abuja Nigeria in 2004, with the sole intention of promoting and exposing the works of independent filmmakers worldwide.
Renderyard International Film Festival is held yearly in London and Spain, in October and November respectively, and supports the screening of British, UK, European and International film content from both professionals and newcomers working with short films, animations, documentaries, music videos and this year feature films. FESTIVAL AIM The aim of our film festival is to give young film-makers and actors the opportunity to celebrate their achievements, and to see their films shown on a huge screen in an amazing venue, in front of a very appreciative audience!! The entry to the festival is completely FREE - just turn up on the day to see some great films. The Festival of Fantastic Films ( FFF ) is a festival of Films & Television which aims to further the art of Fantasy, Science Fiction, and Horror Cinema. This Festival will be the centre of debate and act as a catalyst for new films and as a retrospective event.
The festival was first held in 2003 and has quickly grown to become the largest mountain film festival in Scotland, and the 2nd largest in the UK. It has a reputation for innovative, fast and fun films, and for giving new directors the opportunity to see their work on the big screen. Over 2,500 people are expected to attend the 2009 festival.
